In-N-Out Burger is bringing a restaurant night to Joseph Sims on Thursday, March 6 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. You can choose from a hamburger, cheeseburger or grilled cheese sandwich, a bag of chips and a soft drink for just $4.00 per person. Tickets will be sold on a PRE-SALE basis only ~ there will be no tickets sold on event night ~ and you must have your ticket that night to receive your meal. You can eat your meal at school and socialize with other Sims families, or take it home.

The wonderful thing about this fundraiser is that 75% of ticket sales for the first 500 tickets goes directly to the Joseph Sims PTO! So, for every $4.00 ticket, we keep $3.00 to spend on our students here at Sims! The other 25% goes to a charity of In-N-Out Burger's choice to benefit abused children so this is a completely charitable effort from In-N-Out Burger.

Order forms will be distributed to the classrooms early next week, so be sure to get your ticket orders in and guarantee yourself a spot for this fun event! Tickets can also be purchased in the office for off track families.

Our library is not up to national or California standards. For example, the standard CA library (average) has 14 books per child. Joseph Sims only has 11. Our library needs so many more (more than 3500) books. Next year we will be able to buy art and sports related books with state money. However, the PTO needs to sponsor the library to make up the difference.

This year our Kathryn Beich fundraiser will benefit the library!!! This is the fundraiser where we sell gift wrap/gift items and cookie dough. The fundraiser will be kicked off on August 24 for A & C Tracks and will run until September 7. B & D Tracks sale will run from September 20 - October 5. We will need LOTS of help distributing the cookie dough and also the catalog items when they arrive at school. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us through the website.
